A Mortgage Broker For First Time Buyers
When you’re considering buying your first home it is not unusual to be thinking about hundreds of things at the same time!
It’s an exciting yet daunting prospect and you will no doubt have many, many questions.
From finding the best first time buyer mortgages to how you go about making an offer on a house you like, the process of buying a house for the first time is made up of many different parts.
To make the process easier and get all your questions answered by a single point of contact it makes sense to work with a mortgage broker or advisor.
What Does A Mortgage Broker Do?
You may hear mortgage brokers referred to as mortgage advisors and vice versa, but these terms usually mean the same thing. A mortgage broker will help you find a mortgage that is right for your circumstances using their expertise and access to lenders.
Naturally, a large part of this service is advisory, so it is particularly beneficial for first-time buyers to speak to a broker or advisor.

We have helped hundreds of people obtain first-time buyer mortgages with our access to lenders not available on the high street and our highly personalised service.
How Can We Help First Time Buyers?
One of the first things we do when a first-time buyer comes to us is to work out how much you could potentially borrow to buy your first home and look at the likelihood of you being able to secure a mortgage deal. We will discuss and look at your credit history, and then look at some deals which may be suitable for you.
We will provide you with a mortgage in principle which is an estimate of the amount you can borrow, based on the information you give us, and we submit to our lender partners. The ideal time to do this is before you view houses as you will then have a realistic view of the type of property you can afford to make an offer on.
Once you have found a house you like, we can then assist you with making an offer. If your offer is accepted, you will then need the services of a solicitor to help complete the paperwork needed when buying a house. We work with a few trusted and reliable solicitors so can help you find the right solicitor for your needs.
We then submit your mortgage and instruct valuation. One of the final things we will do is to complete the solicitor instruction paperwork. After that you are on your way to owning your own home – your solicitor will handle the process from there onwards up until the time is right for you to collect the keys to your new home.
Our service doesn’t stop there though – we are always on hand for further or follow up advice. We will also work with you when it comes to renewing your mortgage, we want to be on hand to help for as long as you have a mortgage.
